Terms and conditions

The website www.thedrisco.co.il is the official website of the “Drisco Hotel” (hereinafter: “the Hotel” or “Drisco Hotel”), owned by American Colony Hotels, a joint venture. The Hotel is located on Auerbach Street, Tel Aviv. The website complies with security standards, including SSL and PCI DSS.

Parts of the website and of these regulations are written in the masculine form for convenience only, however all that is stated in these regulations and on the website is intended for women and men alike.

Accommodation reservations may be made by contacting the Hotel by telephone at +972-3-741-0000 or by using this website. Any person making an accommodation reservation through this website declares that they have read these regulations, that they agree to all of its provisions and terms, and that they and/or anyone on their behalf shall have no claim and/or demand and/or lawsuit, directly and/or indirectly, against the website and/or the Hotel and/or anyone on their behalf, including in matters related to the execution of the reservation and the provision of the details required for such reservation, and including in matters related to the fulfillment of the reservation.

Accommodation reservations at the Drisco Hotel and any person making an accommodation reservation through this website will be required to enter their personal details, including an ID number or passport number and credit card number, and subject to the foregoing, the Hotel undertakes to honor the reservation. Providing false personal details will result in legal action being taken against the providers of such details, including filing claims for damages that may be caused to the website and/or the Hotel and/or anyone on their behalf. The credit card details entered through the website are for the purpose of guaranteeing the reservation only. The actual charge to the credit card will be made only upon arrival at the Hotel, or in accordance with the cancellation policy. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Hotel reserves the right to verify the validity of the credit card and to obtain a pre-authorization from the credit card company for the monetary value of the first night of the stay. Upon completion of the reservation process, the guest will receive an automatic email message confirming the reservation. The guest must print the contents of this message, bring it with them to the Hotel, and present it at the reception desk.

Terms and Limitations
a. The prices listed on the website are in New Israeli Shekels, include VAT, and are intended for Israeli citizens only.
b. The guest’s stay at the Hotel shall begin on the day of arrival at 15:00 and shall end at 12:00 on the day of departure. Arrival and/or departure not in accordance with the above times is subject to prior written approval of the Hotel management and involves an additional charge.
c. Accommodation reservations through the website are available only to adults over the age of 18. Staying at the Hotel is permitted for guests aged 16 and above only.
d. The images displayed on the website are for illustration purposes only and are not binding upon the company.
e. Reserving a room or suite at the Drisco Hotel grants use of the room and its public areas to the room guest only, according to what was defined in the room reservation. Guests reserving a room or suite for purposes other than accommodation only, including, inter alia, renting a room or suite for preparation for an event or wedding, are required to notify the Hotel of this in advance and in writing. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse such use, and in any case it is hereby stated that renting a room for wedding or event preparation involves an additional charge equal to twice the room rate and in any case not less than NIS 5,000, excluding VAT.

Privacy
f. The Hotel shall, as far as possible, refrain from transferring the user’s personal details to a third party, unless it is required to do so pursuant to a judicial order or if it faces a threat that legal action (criminal or civil) will be taken against it due to actions performed by the user on the website. In such a case, the Hotel may provide the user’s details to the party claiming to have been harmed by the user or in accordance with the judicial order.
g. The user declares that they are aware that upon entering the purchase details they will be included in the Hotel’s database. The Hotel may use the purchase details for the purpose of the range of services it offers to the website user and for contacting the user by regular mail, email, or any other means of communication, and for adapting the website to the user’s needs and personal preferences. The Hotel shall not transfer personally identifiable information to additional parties, other than as stated above, unless the user so requests. The user’s purchase details will be removed from the Hotel’s database if the user expressly notifies the Hotel in writing that they do not wish to be included in the Hotel’s database.
h. The information presented on the website is provided “as is”. The Hotel, its owners, and anyone on their behalf shall not be responsible for the suitability of the information for the user’s needs and shall not be liable to the user due to their inability to make use of the information for any reason whatsoever. The user alone shall bear responsibility for the manner in which they make use of the information. The Hotel and anyone on its behalf make every effort to ensure that the information is accurate and correct as far as possible; however, the information does not purport to constitute a complete, full, or detailed analysis of all matters addressed therein.

Reservation Cancellation
Cancellation or modification of the reservation details received up to 48 hours prior to the arrival date at 12:00 (Israel time) shall not be subject to cancellation fees.

The Hotel may unilaterally refuse to approve a reservation made and/or approved through the website, or cancel a reservation made through the website and automatically approved, at the Hotel’s sole discretion, in cases where an error occurred in the reservation, including an error in the transaction price, an error in the publication of the service, an error in policy, or any other human error.

Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
Any dispute and/or disagreement related to the use of the website and/or the stay at the Hotel shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Israel and shall be brought before the competent courts of the Tel Aviv District only, and before no other court and/or under any other law.
